In the lower right corner, a renaissance cartouche crowned by the coat of arms of the kingdom of spain including portugal, flanked by two seated male figures and decorated with three masks. In the lower left corner is the scale on a pedestal that at the top has the emblem of the publishing establishment. On the sides three female figures and three male figures dressed in period costumes, corresponding to different social classes. In the lower margin, within a medallion, appears the portrait of monarch philip iii, with the inscription: "philippus iii rex hispan. "
