Mounted fan-leaf, with a medley of images drawn to look like etchings against a map of southern europe; at centre, polidoro's lost fresco from the palazzo milesi; at left, a scene with two cupids and a scene with a woman writing a song; at right, a cupid with a lyre and a scene with a sphinx; the effect is trompe l'œil. 1790-1810 brush drawing in colour on skin.
