The image of the virgin of atocha is represented on its altar flanked by two red curtains and two lamps on both sides, as shown by the devotional prints of her time and the many canvases that faithfully copied her. And before the image of the virgin and worshiping her, saint francis of assisi, the founder of the order of franciscans, and saint domingo de guzmán, the founder of the order of dominicans, appear.
