On a pedestal mercury (right) and minerva (left), with next to them their attributes, respectively, the cock and the owl. The two gods combine the qualities of wisdom and science, important to climb in life. In the background right the muses on mount parnasus and the background left perseus with the head of medusa. Right in the air measuring a putto a globe with a compass. Top left of the sky writes another putto in a book. The print has a latin caption. Date: between circa 1580 and circa 1600.
