The seven japanese gods of luck, looking unhappy, on board their ship (takarabune, a new year's symbol), with a poem referring to seasickness on either side; a mythological long-haired turtle (minogame) climbs aboard from the waves; top left a rising sun and a crane, which, like the minogamous symbols, are symbols for a long life.
