A companion print to bmsat 8749. Three men whose fashionable dress is unsuitable to their age and ugliness are grouped under a tree. Two inspect the third, who wears a spencer and stands in profile to the left, holding his round hat. One stands (centre) holding 'chesterfields advice to his son', the other (left) sits on a garden seat looking through a glass. A dog lies at his feet. 6 january 1798
