Willem van der lindt (born dordrecht, 1525 - deceased ghent, 1588-11-02), professor of theology in dillingen (1554-1557); judge at the court of appeal of friesland (1557-1560); dean of the hofkapel (court chapel) in the hague (1559-1560); bishop of roermond (1569-1588), bishop of ghent (1588).
