Plate numbered 9, vitellius: in the foreground, a statue of vitellius on horseback, in full armour; the front of the pedestal decorated with a scene of vitellius overseeing two executions, while another cartouche on the side of the pedestal displays the emperor borne aloft in a procession; in the background, to the left, vitellius feasting in a palace, attended by a group of servants; to the right, vitellius disgraced, dragged through the streets with a noose around his neck engraving.
