Finch hunt; in the right foreground, a huntsman, bearing a brace of finches and a stick crosses a footbridge over a stream; a couple stand on the other side of the stream, to the right; in the left foreground, a man and a boy, concealed behind a tree and seen from behind, watch the hunt in the mid ground beyond, in which two figures, centre, crouching behind a shelter, catch finches using nets and a rope; beyond, to the left, a wagon carries people towards a town on the horizon engraving.
