Buzzurd hunt with traps in winter; in the foreground, to right, two huntsmen with forked sticks conceal themselves and watch from behind a tree; beyond, to the left, buzzards approach spiked traps which contain mice as bait; one flies off, still attached to the trap; in the left mid ground, a farmer and his wife attend to their fowl on the outskirts of a village; at the far right, a man and woman on horseback follow the road towards the village at the far left; a cross stands upon the horizon above them engraving.
