Plate 47: in the right foreground, the ghost of a satyr turns to face his pursuers; behind him, in the centre, male and female ethiopioans come over the hills as they hunt the satyr with sticks and arrows; to far right, the satyr drinks from a chalice before a classical villa; in the left mid ground, a group of figures encounter the satyr asleep at the entrance to a cave; in the distance, to the left, two figures stand atop a crag beside a waterfall engraving.
