Valhalla. 17 lowering a boat. Medium includes graphite. Steel auxiliary 3 masted steam yacht valhalla built by ramage & ferguson in 1892 for her first owner capt. J. F. Laycock of bawtry, portsmouth, a british army officer and olympic sailor. She was launched from the victoria shipyard, leith on 20 october 1892. 1897 portsmouth register closed. James lindsay, 26th earl of crawford ( 1847–1913), registered her in london in 1902. This picture drawn 1893-1901. Date: 1897.
