Two men seated on spars RMG PV5355, circa 1700

Two men seated on spars three separate studies of the same man, two showing him seated cross-legged on a spar with left arm bent and right arm on the spar. The figure on the right is the most worked, with touches of brown wash on the face and hands. The sheet has been trimmed, leaving traces of further drawing and an inscription.
