Two ships becalmed a slight sketch showing in the foreground a ship seen from slightly on the port bow with her fore and main topsails loosed, fore course hauled up and main topgallant loosed on the cap. In the right middle-distance, a port bow view of a ship with her mizzen set and topsails and topgallants loosed on the cap. This is a pencil drawing by the younger signed on the back ‘w. V.
