Two english ships becalmed to the right, a starboard broadside view of a ship with her mizzen, topsails and topgallants loosed and her fore and main courses hauled up. In the left background, another ship with her fore course, mizzen and topsails loosed. This is a pencil drawing by the younger, which has been signed on the back ‘w. V. Vj’.
