Three flutes under sail to the left, a near port broadside view of a small flute almost in the wind, with her fore course and topsail aback and main topsail and mizzen filled; a mizzen staysail set. In the right middle-distance, a weather bow view of two flutes one ahead of the other, close hauled on the starboard tack. This is a pencil drawing by the younger signed ‘w. V. Vj’.
