The Zeeland squadron lying to RMG PW6852, circa 1666

The zeeland squadron lying to one of a group of drawings associated with the four day’s battle at which van de velde the elder was present in a galjoot put at his disposal by de ruyter. He made a large series of drawings most of which are in the boymans van beuningen museum, rotterdam. The drawing has a false signature of the younger lower left. W. V. V. J. '. The zeeland squadron lying to. Date: circa 1666. Dimensions: Sheet: 204 x 310 mm; Mount: 405 mm x 558 mm.
