Stoel-wysenburg - Peeters Jacob - 1686

The map title "stoe-wysenburg" and the subtitle "stul-wissenburgh" refer to "de:stuhlweißenburg, the old austrian name for székesfehérvár. The name "alba regalis" is latin and refers to the same "(royal) white throne" of the other names. The river zarvisa (which flooded the moats and morasses around the city) no longer exists. Letters mark some places: a (the town), b (the dome), c (the island town), d (the raitzen-town ??), e (the gemoes-town - for vegetables??), f (two domestic suburbs), g (morass), h (the river zarwisa), i (road to buda), k (the port). Date: 1686.
