Fox (right), capering with excitement, raises a dagger in his right hand, as if to strike a grotesquely stout and short lady, who faces him, throwing back her arms. Both faces, especially that of fox, have the exaggerated expressions of ranting actors in melodrama. Beneath the design is etched:
