Kreppelhof castle was probably built in the renaissance style at the beginning of the 16th century. It was located in the north of the town of landeshut on the left bank of the bober and was expanded in 1566 and 1588. It was the seat of the lordship of the same name and was owned by hans von dyhrn at the beginning of the 16th century. In the middle of the 18th century, the castle and lordship were owned by erdmann ii, count of promnitz. On june 8, 1765, he gave kreppelhof to his nephew christian friedrich, count of stolberg-wernigerode, who passed it on to his son anton of stolberg-wernigerode. After his death in 1854, kreppelhof passed to his son eberhard of stolberg-wernigerode, who was succeeded by his nephew udo of stolberg-wernigerode. His son albrecht, count of stolberg-wernigerode, was expropriated and expelled in 1945. In 1964, kreppelhof castle burned down. Date: between 1857 and 1883.
