The wedding has been called off, however, because her father honz? brought shame to the family by preventing lord enya from slaying his enemy moronao. In the midground of this print, konami and her mother are shown en route to yuranosukes home to try to persuade him to allow the marriage to go forward. Along the way they pass some of the iconic sights of japan, including mount fuji and the miho pine forest. The depressed konami gazes at the scenery and a festive bridal procession in the foreground and sighs, if things were as they used to be, i should now be traveling in just such splendor and luxury for the great occasion of my life.
