Royal salute, tower of london
a royal salute at the tower of london, one of the many studies of the thames and its shipping by the marine artist william lionel wyllie (1851-1931). A number of vessels are depicted on the river in front of the tower, including a couple of thames barges, one with its mainmast lowered, lighters and a steam tug.
