Top, center, a man whose legs turn into flowing leaf patterns blows a horn and is flanked by two longer horns. Beneath, a medieval helmet and a shield depicting a satyr and 2 hunting dogs on leashes. On either side of the composition are vases that contain the tentrils of grape vines. At top, a plaque that reads: soli deo gloria. Date: circa 1521. Dimensions: H x W: 18.6 x 14.4 cm (7 5/16 x 5 11/16 in.). Medium: woodcut and black ink on paper. Collection: Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
