Title page to a tract entitled "de leuterbol van diest, de hond, en de pikbroek, by den laaste stuyver", no. 21 in the series entitled "esopus in europa"; in the centre an etching showing a dutch sailor mocking a man of diest who creeps away from the siege of ghent which takes place in the background to right; a french dog (a fleur-de-lis medallion on his collar) snarls at him. The sailor points out a painting on the wall of a nearby inn showing two lions (the netherlands and england) circling the french tiger; in the background, imperial eagles attack the tiger on a mountain top, and smaller animals represent the french allies. 1702 etching with letterpress printed in black ink.
