A pendant in the form of a sea monster perched on a strapwork base is suspended from a bow knot. The base is composed of faceted gems and a horned term figure, and is hung with three drop pearls. Riding on the monster’s back is a bearded nude with a trident and a youth with an oar. Date: 1582. Dimensions: H x W: 21.2 × 14.4 cm (8 3/8 × 5 11/16 in.); ; Platemark: 22.1 cm (8 11/16 in.).
