A pendant in the form of a sea monster perched on a strapwork base is suspended from a bow knot. The base is composed of faceted gems, a mask, dragons and cornucopia, and is hung with three drop pearls. Riding on the monster’s back is a nude youth seated on a shell, an older man with an oar, and a merman with a shell. Date: 1582.
