Woodblock print, oban tate-e, five prints commemorating five special dance performances by onoe tamizō ii at the kawarasaki theatre in the first month of tenpō 13 (1842): 1) shakkyō--lion dancer in shakkyō, an actor on a rock with a long flowing mane of hair; 2) manzai--new year's dance, lavishly dressed dancer with a drum; 3) tōjin--a chinese dance, an actor with an elevated leg; 4) komori--a child's dance, a woman with a lute and an octopus; and 5) yakko-dako--a servant as a kite, with a bird nearby.
