From the crown of the helmet extends a spear topped with a tassel of dyed horse-hair. The helmet only partially made of iron. The characters on the breast-plate denote the army corps to which he belongs; the box attached to the belt contain arrows heads, bowstrings. The lower part of the bow is enclosed in a sheath. The coat of mail is made from quilted nankeen reinforced with thin plates of metal and surrounded with studs.
