Place de la Bastille in 1858, Theodor Josef Hubert Hoffbauer, between 1875 and 1882

The place de la bastille, shown here in 1858, was created in 1792 where the famous bastille prison was once located. The colonne de juillet, also found at the place de la bastille, was erected in the honor and in memory of 500 men who fell in the revolution of 1830.
