Part of an album of plates drawn and lithographed on a bistre background by pierre gorse, printed at becquet frères in paris announced by 1 lithographed title page. Pl. 9 to 13 drawn by gorse after a relief by auguste renoir. Sold for the benefit of the restoration of the chapel in bétharram the image having been found several times -- healed paralitics having had water brought from the same fountain and being washed and other abandoned sick people having been reconvalidated having dedicated themselves to the chapel -- blind miraculously enlightened having washed their eyes with the water of the fountain and women cured of breast sores -- like the chapel having been burned by the heretics and only the walls remaining of it the night was seen as bright as if there were lamps lit.
