the topsail schooner guillelmo, 119-tons, was built by georges deslandes at st. Helier, jersey, in 1835 and originally owned by h. Machon & co. Of the same port. At the beginning of her career, she traded regularly for some years to faro (portugal) under captain godfrey but, in 1843, was sold to j. Renouf & co. Who started running her to brazil under captain durell. By the mid-1850s, following another change of ownership, she was operating in local waters as a coaster and disappears from record in the late 1860s. Object Type: painting. Date: 1844.
