Catholicos antony ii (georgian: ანტონ ii; teimuraz bagrationi, greek: თეიმურაზ ბაგრატიონი; january 8, 1762, tbilisi – december 21, 1827, nizhny novgorod) was the last catholicos-patriarch of eastern georgia (1788-1811) before the abolition of the autocephaly of the georgian church. He was a prince, son of the king of kartli-kakheti irakli ii bagrationi, and brother of the last king of kartli-kakheti, giorgi xii. Object Type: painting. Date: 1811.
