On the coast of picardy; a man on the beach to right, lifting a large shade, with baskets lying nearby and two horses waiting behind him, people gathered around a small ship and pair of fishing boats grouped together on the shore further out to left, others with a cart nearer the water, with cliffs beyond houses and masts of moored ships in a bay in the distance to right; after bonington (noon 187); finished state. 1829 lithograph, printed on chine collé.
