This image shows plate xxxii (= 32). Jones’ original description of this plate from his “description of the plates” (page 9–15), transcribed literally, using jones’ orthography:
“from a square vase in cloisonné enamel. The outline of this vase is very elegant, and the composition of the ornament contrasting with the curved lines is very fine. The pattern on the lower half of the plate is from the inside of the lip. ”
