Twenty-four Paragons of Filial Piety, Ōshō (Wang Xiang), Utagawa Kuniyoshi, 1848

Ōshō was an official. When his stepmother craves for fish in the mid-winter, ōshō takes off his clothes and go to the frozen river, when the ice mealts for the heat of his body, a carp leaps to his hands.
