The second view of the castle of potsdam town; the garden and the royal school, the garnison church, st. Nicholas and the hotel de ville. The heart of potsdam town between the garnison church and the beginning of burgstrasse, with the town palace in the centre and the pleasure gardens stretching down to the havel. Behind it rises the tower of st. Nicholas church and to the right of it you can see the tower of the town hall on the old market. To the right of it the wooden long bridge crosses the havel.
