Mr Edwin in the Crusade., James Gillray, 1790

Edwin, as sir troubadour, stands directed to the right, his head in profile. He wears armour, but his left leg is swathed in a bulky bandage, with a large bulging shoe. In his right hand is a tall spear; he bends forward, left hand on his hip. In the background is a castle flying a flag with a crescent. 2 july 1790 etching. Date: 1790.
