Portrait of dolores pérez álvarez, married to the portuguese francisco xavier alvares, owner of a good northern part of the port of valparaíso. His son was the chilean politician and intellectual francisco álvarez pérez (1814-1873). His daughter, mercedes, was married to josé francisco vergara (1833-1889), the politician and founder of viña del mar, who built the quinta vergara. Object Type: painting.
