A tall, good-looking man, with long horns on his forehead, puts a ring on the finger of a young woman, who turns aside to point up at a high alcove, serving as an altar, in which are the torso of a grinning satyr and two goats. Her dress closely defines her figure. Behind her (left) is a woman veiled in a shroud. Behind the bridegroom are three weeping young women. 6 may 1800 etching. Date: 1800.
