Marines, zeebrugge a study of five men in tin hats drawn up loosely at attention, four in puttees and with a warrant officer to the left in loose trousers, and inscribed by wyllie lower right 'major t f v cooke dso rm'. The current title suggests it relates to the zeebrugge raid of 23 april 1918, though the basis for that remains to be checked. Date: circa 1918. Dimensions: 255 mm x 355 mm. Collection: Fine art.
