The Temple rotunda in 1840, Theodor Josef Hubert Hoffbauer, between 1875 and 1882

The rotonde du temple was constructed in 1781 and later sold in 1798 in preparation for the second-hand clothing market known as the marché du temple. Though this market had been transferred from the marché des innocents in 1802, it did not officially open in the rotonde until 1811. Date: between 1875 and 1882. Dimensions: 12.1 x 9.5 cm.
