Villa Malta in Rome, August Lucas, 1850

The wall of the villa is in a yellowish tone, which is mingled in the garden wall with greyish-violet and brick-red nuances. The gray violet comes back darkened in the house, in front of which a leash with brown, blue and white pieces of laundry hangs. The trees are yellow-green and olive-green. Smooth sky is full blue.
