Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 394, 30 September 1917

394. Tombstone with a cross in the cemetery of the village. Enisala, northern dobrudja, carved from grey-red limestone. The plate is rounded at its upper edge. On her face is carved a cross with slightly flared ends, the lower wing of which is longer; around the cross is engraved a line parallel to its final outline, and above the upper wing [is] an engraved flower. Beneath the cross is an engraved inscription, almost obliterated, with the date 1851. Above it are the monograms of jesus christ. Dimensions: 70x45x15 cm. Sketched on 30. Ix. 1917 (item 9, obr. 20. ). Date: 30 September 1917.
