Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 835, 11 October 1919

835. Candlestick with crosses around the church "st. Dimitar" in borisovgrad. 4 four-winged crosses are nailed to the hoop of its stand, on the wings of which candles are glued. Their upper wings are the same, the lower ones are longer; between their corners there are squares instead of rays. Dimensions of the candlestick: 124x35 cm; of the crosses: 170x110x2 mm. Made 40-50 years ago from soft iron (the church was built in 1871) sketched on 11. H. 1919 (t. 5, obr. 45. ). Date: 11 October 1919.
