Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 860, December 1916

860. Tombstone with a cross in the bedeshki abandoned cemeteries in st. Zagora. Made of ash calcareous shale; on the face, an inscription in slavic letters; above the inscription, a four-winged cross is made in relief - the upper three wings end with a cross each, and the lower wing is crossed with a raised plane; the cross is in a square low field; it is made of rough undivided slab covered with mosses and lichens; dates back to 1700 dimensions: 120x70x20 cm. Sketched in december 1916. (vol. 2, obr. 20. ). Date: December 1916.
