Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 54, June 1916

54. Cross - tombstone, around the cemeteries of the village. Brusen, vrachansko, since 1880. Carved from a gray whetstone; four-winged; its wings expand outwards and form a trapezoid; the lower wing is the largest and is driven without a plinth into the ground; an isosceles cross is cut in the middle, the upper wing of which is broken; between the upper wings of the cross there is a bud each, left by the lowering of the background and the formation of the surrounding cornice; next to its base is a niche for candles. Dimensions: 88x52x15 cm. Sketched in june 1916. (vol. 2, obr. 12. ). Date: June 1916.
