Impasse Saint-Martial, 1850, Theodor Josef Hubert Hoffbauer, between 1875 and 1882

A glimpse down the narrow impasse saint-martial. By the nineteenth century, this impasse was the only vestige that remained of the saint-martial convent, established by saint-éloi (according to legend) prior to the ninth century and preserved up until the eighteenth century, when it was destroyed.
