A flowering, b fruiting branch; in a the topmost inflorescence to the left is female, the others are male. 1 part of a male inflorescence with 2 flowers; 2 male perianth; 3a and 3b anthers; 4 also cut crosswise; 5 female flower; 6 acorn; 7 the same cut crosswise. 1 to 5 enlarged. Date: 1885.
