Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 315, 22 August 1917

315. Cross - tombstone, around the cemeteries of the village. Staro selo, tutrakansko, carved 20-30 years ago from white fine-grained limestone; drawing correct, technique good. Its upper wing is quartered and ends with a semi-cylindrical growth; the lower wing is also the fourth, wider and is a continuation of the base of the monument. A line is engraved around the end contour, the two ends of which are stuck at the corners of the base; in the fields that enclose the engraved line and the contours of the base, two triangle-pyramids are carved with their points inwards. In the middle of the face of the cross is an engraved circle, the circle is intersected by an engraved cross, between the wings of which triangular pyramids are carved. Dimensions: 48x34x9 cm.
