Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 11, 25 April 1917

11. Doll - tombstone, in the old burun cemetery in the town of scrap. The head of the doll is long with zig-zag cuts, the lower wing as well, and the side wings are small and quartered. Carved with a saw and adze from oak wood. This cross, because it is made of a tree - usually a doll - is a sign that a child between the ages of 1 and 12 months is buried under it. Nova. Dimensions: 31x6. 5x2. 5 cm. Sketched on 25. Iv. 1917. (t. 6, obr. 47. ). Date: 25 April 1917.
